A quick update: as you can see I have stopped the 365 challenge not because i can't be bothered to take anymore photos but for some reason my up-load speed ahs turned into a crawl and it is taking upwards of 20 minutes to upload any photos taken with my DSLR and to be honest I have better things to be doing I have complained to t e provider but up to now I have had no response i will wait till Lorni gets back home next week and let her far better Spanish sort it out.

80. Day 22 of 365 challenge and stuff
First of some good news for a change it looks like we have found Chris somewhere else to live and it will be far more comfortable for him and a lot less stressful,, At the moment he really does not look forward to weekends as the land lord is about all the time and Chris has done his best to try and avoid him but somehow Chris still gets it int he neck for everything and Chris eats late int he evening during the week again to avoid the land lord, Fingers crossed things look like they are on the up for him at last. And less than two weeks now and Lorni will be home at last...!
Today's photo was taken on my walk this morning it's of one of the many abandoned and ruined houses around this area.

79. Day 21 of 365 Challenge
I took a very long walk with the dogs this morning as the temperature was still in the 20's and I felt good so three hours later and I didn't feel so good LOL but I did take a rather good photo pf the local Monastery called St. Jerome with the highest peak in the range just behind it.
And I have now managed to clean up some room upstairs so I can get back and do my exercises which makes me feel a whole lot better.

78. Day 18,19&20 of 365 chaellenge.
One thing after another at the moment I just get one technical problem sorted then I get hit by another then another, I am hoping that everything is sorted now so I can get on with life without further interruptions...we will see LOL
I have been having problems with my step son it seems his land lord has lost the plot recently he keeps giving Chris 30 day notice to quit warnings and is picking fault for no reason and he is constantly changing the tenancy agreement without warning, he refuse to talk to me n the phone and will only exchange messages where he goes on rants about people using his salt and pepper hmm as I said lost the plot totally I need to get Chris out of there as he is having his life destroyed by this fool but it's not easy at the moment with lock-down and covid, I will keep working on it.
Three photo's today as I was too busy last night to upload anything and the two days before that I was having trouble with the PC and then the internet again!!!
And a bonus photo too, 4 photo's taken on my morning walk with the dogs adn that is the reason why I don't mind walking the gags three times a day.

77. Day 16 of 365 challenge and stuff...!
I have had a busy few weeks here in Spain but today was a good day even though I still have a lot to do.The bathroom was finished well the upstairs one and what a transformation form the older one which had tiles falling off and a toilet that moved every time you sat on it and for some reason twin sinks...??
How it was
How it is now
So much tidier and warmer and yes I decided which units to buy, didn't do a bad job did I?
Today's photo is off the large house at the beginning of our Village I am sure it may have been a hotel or similar at some point but it's a private dwelling now a bloody big one.
76. Day 14 & 15 of 365 challenge.
Once again the technology gremlins have hit me. I have been having trouble trying to make my PC use the drivers for the video card that I have..a Geforce Card but Windows keeps trying to swap over to it's own drivers but! without disabling the NVIDIA drivers so I get conflict and a very very slow just about un-usable PC. I eventually got it sorted only for Microsoft to publish a very big Windows update which once installed required a re-boot and on the re-boot all hell let loose nothing worked properly. I spent hours sorting it all out only to find Windows had done it's thing again with the video drivers..so just about sorted when we got a power-cut grrr so back to the beginning the next day and at least everything seems to be working again.
So I can now publish the photos I took yesterday and the day before...I hope?
Now that is done I can get on with sorting out today's post I hope you like the photo's.

75. Day 13 of 365 challenge
It has been a very stressful busy week what with one thing or another and I am glad its over with, The bathroom is done as far as they can get just waiting for the sink unit now and a couple of towel rails, Then in a bout 3 weeks time depending on the emergency measures work can start on replacing the roof, I need planning permission form the town hall and they are closed till after this latest round of restrictions.
Even though it's Sunday here nothing stops the orange harvest and today the pickers were out in force all over the place a really busy time f the year in these here parts.
Traffic jams on every one of the very small roads around our village. Today's photo for the challenge is of or little square taken form the bottom of the hill a very colourful little place.

74. Day 12 of 365 challenge and stuff
Another incredibly busy day today I haven't stopped for breath today between walking the dogs cleaning up and sopping and helping to drag loads of stuff to out bin area I didn't even have time for lunch. We found out today that after the recent storms that my roof does still leak a bit but it will be replaced soon the bathroom is as completed as it can be until the sink unit and cupboard turn up but its looking good.
Today's photo is off the adjoining village of Ador which climbs up the side of the mountain I would like to bet those lucky home owners have one hell of a view from up there.
I wouldn't mind living up there myself to be honest but! in Spain the house prices go up with altitude.
73. Day 11 of 365 challenge and stuff..
I really can't catch a break at the moment, didn't get lunch till 3 pm I went shopping yesterday as new measures were implemented at midnight last night regarding restrictions due to Covid and I tried ti get enough to last me three weeks so i didn't have to go back and queue outside the supermarket. The bathroom is nearly finished the shower was installed yesterday and the leak fixed this morning I will be able to use it on Monday after all the great and sealer have gone off properly. The guys have made miracles up there the room was a mess under all the bad tiling. I will take some piccies soon it's a shame we are still waiting for the sink unit and cupboard to be delivered..oh well its Spain after all...!!
Today's photo is one I took on my morning walk with the dogs of an abandoned building about half a mile up the road.
Yesterday was a really gloomy day so in post production I used some HDR treatment on this to try and make it more interesting.

72. Day 10 of 365 challenge and stuff..!
Again I am writing this a day late, yesterday we had some horrendous storms and we ended up with the electricity going on and off faster than a whores bra so I gave up in the end, thankfully this morning has started grey and overcast but dry and we have power. It was really difficult getting the dogs out yesterday something I have to do as we don't have a garden per-say Harry will put up with any weather but Willow hates the rain and will just sit down and refuse to move, I got to try my banana man outfit on and low and behold its water-tight but a bit warm....!
But the photo that I took for the challenge I think encompasses the area in which I live and the current state of the weather..what do you think??

71. Day 8 & 9 of 365 Challenge...
Wow what a couple of days I was so busy yesterday I forgot to upload the photo, but the good news is Chris is sorted for the time being and Lorni has re-booked her flights with Ryan Air so at the moment it looks like she will be coming home on the 30th...fingers crossed on that one.
So yesterdays photo once again proves you don't always have to have a fancy camera to take some half decent photos.

70. Day 7 of 365 photo challenge and other stuff
We have had a stunning day here today with temps hitting 26 degrees but! and there is always a but! starting tomorrow it looks very likely that we are going to get some serious wet stuff, Just as work was about to start on replacing our roof...!!! never mind.
So because of the weather today's photo of the day is a quick picture of what this area is famous for.......oranges.

69. Day 6 of 365 challenge..A bit late
I was so busy yesterday I just didn't get two mins to myself to be able to upload and update my blog. Also yesterday for some reason the internet was playing up really bad, it's never brilliant here unless you getup in the middle of the night but it was a lot worse than usual yesterday.
I have been on my own for nearly 6 months now as most of my friends know and during that time I have taken a lot o and I mean a lot of photos of my dogs my brilliant dogs Harry and Willow, without them I would have probably gone crazy months ago LOL So it shouldn't be surprising to see yet another photo of one of them, this time its Willow.
